Hayley Newnham PR was tasked to increase awareness of O’Neill’s new global initiative, O’Neill Blue – Our Ocean Mission, to create sustainable and innovative apparel.
Working alongside BIONIC YARN®, REPREVE® and ECONYL®, O’Neill (Blue) is a carefully curated collection made using recycled PET bottles, ocean plastics and nylon waste from landfills. Spanning snow performance and surf categories, O’Neill (Blue) grows year-on-year with a range of bikinis, swimsuits, boardshorts, surf leggings, ski pants and ski jackets.
Hayley Newnham PR conducted one-on-one press appointments to showcase seasonal O’Neill (Blue) collections and hero pieces. Interview opportunities with key O’Neill spokespeople were also offered to select press and a product seeding program was initiated in the UK.
